Undertaking a turret clock projects is one of the most rewarding activity. You have the beating heart of a village, town or city. It’s the shared time of the big dial on the church, shop, town hall. Its important their hard work and service is recorded and we all have the chance to meet under the clock in the future. |

Turret clocks are not your normal clock. Some are actually part of a grade listed building. Most have been replaced by synchro-motors, which for the owner of the building is an economical decision to install. So what happens to all the ‘old mechanisms’? Its important that they become visible, including bell systems. If you are thinking about ‘synchro-ing‘ your dial please talk to us, to see how the original clock can be maintained in the building for all to see and enjoy. Those that have been removed need their history recorded. The club databases allows this to happen and researchers to explore this information. Lets discus these clocks on the market: |
